Johor Bahru
Built back in January 1994, this is Johor Bahru’s main square. It was built soon after Johor Bahru was declared as a city. Dataran Bandaraya is a big field that allows the public to hold sport events or public gatherings. When there is no event, this place is just a square with nothing much to see except the clock tower.
From Dataran Bandaraya, you can visit Lido Beach, Johor Zoo, Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque, St. Christopher’s Anglican Church, Johor Art Gallery etc. Many recommend taking a short stroll to either India town or China town and enjoy some traditional meal over there.
