The entry point of the temple features an open gate like structure. There are pillars that support a crowning roof with idols of three hindu gods namely Ganesh, Laxmi and Karthikeya placed from left to right. Occasionally, banana leaves are also kept alongside the two yellowish golden coloured pillars. The uppermost part is quite colourfully designed structure which presents the gods in their full beauty.
It is undoubtedly one of the most notable features of the temple. It was added to the temple in the year 1968. The five tiered structure is developed in South Indian style and is the longest part of the temple. The 75 feet pyramid like gate tower has Hindu god and goddesses depictions. It is known to be designed by the late sculptor ST Muniappa. He is one responsible for styling the tower with more than 200 idols. It somehow resembles a human feet to a certain extent. As per some mythological beliefs it bridges the two worlds of materialistic world and spirituality. Devotees within the hindu community have sense of belief in the healing powers of these god and goddesses whom they offer prayers and ask for blessings.
Flower shops have come up in the nearby places of the temple. Devotees come here to shop for their choice of flowers and garlands to offer to the almighty. All of these are freshly stored for the purchasers. Garland sets are hung on the rod like platforms raised on the outer section of these shops.
