Panuba Beach is detached from the main island and is the next beach from Monkey Bay to South. The beach has only one resort named Panuba Resort which is on the skirt of the hill towards the sea. The island is worth a visit by all means. The authority taking care of Panuba Beach and the island has done commendable work in the domain of environmentally friendly activity.
The serene beauty of Tioman Island has a peaceful place to stay – Panuba Beach Resort. The resort is on a private bay and has its own beach. Thus, the guests at Panuba Beach Resort can unwind and relax very privately in the quiet and pleasant surroundings of the resort. It was established in 1989. The location of the resort is central to Marine Park and other interesting places on Tioman Island. That is why it is an ideal spot for family vacations and a great place for everyone to stay on the island.
You can visit Tioman Island and enjoy the varieties of chalets over the water at the bay and facing down to Panuba Beach. Undoubtedly, some of the best views on the island can be experienced from the Panuba Inn Resort. The chalet style accommodations at the resort are of 4 types and have private balconies. The resort is not exclusive for accommodation and dining. In fact, the resort arranges for island tours, fishing trips, snorkelling and trekking on request of its guests. There is also a PADI dive outlet that is registered with the government.
The service and maintenance of Panuba Resort is not in par with the natural splendour of the island. There is nothing hopelessly bad but almost everything needs upgrade. Rooms are old enough and the staff is not proactive towards attending guests and visitors. In fact, even meals can be late than mentioned on schedule. Thirdly, some services, such as arrangement for snorkelling, are very expensive. Dead corals are upfront and living ones are not near either. Snorkelling is pleasant experience. However, the beach was littered. Food is alright but not great.
