The name makes it clear that Yaoki specialises in Japanese and it certainly does it with precision. The restaurant has surprisingly vast menu of Japanese dishes. What surprises more is that every dish is available daily. So, visitors do not have to compromise with their desire nor do they have to wait for specific day for specific items. Occasional shortcomings such as expert chef of a particular dish being absent or on leave.
Their service is neither bad nor good. However, provided the kind of restaurant that Yaoki is, the service seems below par. The staff is expected to assist guests in making choices but you may find them actually less attentive. By the time dinner is over, the focus shifts from service to the food because food is up to the mark of expectation.
Yaoki is non-halal and serves pork and alcoholic liquor. Sushi and Sashimi enjoy great demand in the restaurant. Soups and grilled seafood are in no way inferior to special delicacies like the grilled beef tong. Japanese sake and beer are available too.
