Kota Tinggi Waterfalls is located at a distance of 62 kilometres from Johor Bahru. From the town of Kota Tinggi, from which the waterfall gets its name, its distance is just 16 kilometres. Water gushes down from a lofty height of thirty six meters that originates from the summit of Mount Panti. Bathing at the foot of the waterfall is something that the visitors enjoy here.

The tropical heat pervasive in the area is somewhat relieved near the cool shades at the bottom of the waterfall. The waterfall has an open space that is fit for picnics with family and friends. The place generally remains crowded during the weekends. Huge parking spaces can be found for paring motorcycles, cars, and buses.

Changing rooms are provided to the public at the bottom of the waterfalls. There are camping grounds available at the base of the waterfalls where the tourists and travellers set camps.

A quality restaurant that is located nearby provides both Western as well as Chinese food. There is a number of food stalls located near the spot as well.
